① Picking up travelers from hotel on departure time and then drive to the Lama Temple --- a famous lamasery located in the northeastern part of the old city of Beijing. It used to be the living quarter for Qing Emperor Yongzheng when he was a prince. A huge standing Buddha (26 metres/86 feet high, carved out of one piece of Sandalwood tree) will be impress you a lot.
② Driving (50minutes) to Summer Palace, the best-preserved imperial garden in the world that boasts centralized architectural masterpieces as well as scenic beauties. Long corridor & marble boat in Summer Palace will impress you a lot. Visit it for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
③ Before having lunch, travelers have 45 minutes to enjoy the Chinese pearl factory. Since ancient times, the pearl has been a symbol of unblemished perfection. It is the oldest known gem, and for centuries it was considered the most valuable.
④ Have traditional Chinese lunch at Bangfuchun（蚌福春） restaurant near Summer Palace.
⑤ Drive to Beijing Zoo - where you can meet VIP -- very important panda! It looks like a bear but it is not a bear. It looks like a cat, but it is not a cat. Anatomically, it is more like a raccoon.
⑥ At last, driving the travelers back to their hotel. |
